Kerri has a degree in wedding and portrait photography and attends classes and workshops throughout the year on the latest trends in wedding photography. Her 2006 wedding album entry won first place and her 2005 entry tied for first place in the Twin Cities Professional Photographers Association annual print competition. Kerri's wedding photography has been receiving awards since her first competition in 2002 where she received the highest wedding print score at the TCPPA.

On the wedding day Kerri works with an assistant and together they work to document the day in a storytelling style. Kerri has an eye for details and no detail is overlooked- from the buttons on the brides dress to the handmade place cards at the reception. Kerri’s favorite images of her clients are often outdoors. She feels being outside helps to relax people and she can get the best expressions. Expressions of love, laughter, friendship and fun are all immortalized in the bride and grooms proofs forever.
